Official Public Beta Release 9 of Flexilis Also Brings New GUI

We’ve written about Flexilis before and opinions were really divided between the enthusiasts and those that think it would be too complicated and of no use for the average user. Make sure you drop us your comments on where you stand!

All in all, Flexilis is getting more and more popular and the developers keep popping out improved versions in the form of public or private betas. The latest such is a Public Beta no. 9. Read more for the changes!

Major Changes

- Added an entirely new GUI for the Windows Mobile client

- Added a new Anti-Virus and Firewall page to the web application that allows users to browse recent seucurity events from a device

Features/Enhancements

- Users can now cancel missing device actions from the web application

- Users can now edit their device’s phone number from the web application if it is not detected correctly

- Improved device selection widget on the web application

- Added additional news feed events for modifying your settings, performing missing device actions, updating your software, and restoring data

Bug Fixes

- Fixed issues restoring certain types of SMS messages

- Fixed issues for international users backing up Pictures, Sounds, and Videos

- Fixed issues with phone location UI on the web application
