This was submitted to Jason Dunn. It seems Microsoft has released the source code for Windows CE 3.0.
Maybe it’s just me, but that’s kind of weird on Microsoft’s behalf. What’s even more eerie… it’s free! Is Microsoft acting strange or what? Well, they DID let us download eVB from them, but it’s not like Microsoft uses eVB anyway. Well, either way, this should be really great for developers who want to get “down and dirty,” as Jason so rightly puts it… If you’re a developer who’s been wanting to understand how Windows CE works… here you go.
