If you’ve been trying to purchase an HTC EVO 4G from Sprint’s website during the past 2 weeks, I’m sure you’ve noticed the “sorry, this device is so hot we can’t keep it on our virtual shelves” message. Well, moments ago, the EVO 4G is officially back in stock. If you’ve been eagerly waiting, now is your chance to snatch one up for $199 with a new or renewing 2 year contract.
While we’re on the topic of the EVO 4G, yesterday’s OTA update has been re-released. It was previously pulled due to a bug that allowed users to start the installation process a second time upon completion of the first. Updating twice resulted in rendering devices inoperable. Looks like they’ve fixed the issue. You can update by navigating to Settings > System updates > HTC software update. Remember, this is for those who were unable to update with the initial release.
