HTC has just launched the first two updates for their Touch Pro2 device, after two months since it hit the markets. Read on for the two hotfix information!

1. First one is “Hotfix to allow SMS Text Messages to be sent using the “+” international prefix for HTC Touch Pro2“. According to the description, it addresses TouchFLO 3D, where SMS Messages cannot be sent out with the + prefix before the country code (+ ). On the same page, there’s a compatibility chart; if your device’s OS matches one in the table, you’re eligible to install this hotfix.

2. Second is “Hotfix to enhance the internal GPS capability in the HTC Touch Pro2” and it can help the HTC Touch Pro2 seek out GPS satellites when using programs like TomTom, PAPAGO and others. There’s no information on how it actually will improve GPS fix (newer radio? new QuickGPS?) but it is stated clearly that “this hotfix only can be applied for ROM version lower then 1.21.000.0.”

Note: These hotfixes need to apply in case of a Hard Reset!
