Ludipocket caught sight of a website that has news and pictures of an actual working SmartPhone 2002, in use, from the CES show floor. I was only able to make out a rough translation of the Japanese news article, and I picked up the following;
The operating system, SmartPhone 2002, previously codenamed Stinger, has a Pocket PC-type look, as shown below:
Can’t forget PIM (in this case a phone book), of course:
And as far as I understand from the article, the Internet Explorer built into the OS is v5.5 and supports XML and CSS:
