The white iPhone 4 will go on sale through T-Mobile Germany starting either the 28th or 29th of April, according to conflicting, unpublished website banners, lending credibility to the stream of rumors we’ve heard to that effect in the past several weeks. A wider European and US release is almost certain to occur contemporaneously.
Apple itself has promised to ship the oft-delayed model this spring, after manufacturing problems reportedly surrounding light leakage to the camera sensor kept it from a summer 2010 rollout alongside its black linemate.
The literal translation of the T-Mobile banners is “The iPhone 4 in white. Available from 28/29 April,” with the two versions apparently signifying some uncertaintly regarding the exact date. Still, a release before the end of the month now looks like a lock, so you can probably mark your calendar for the middle-to-end of next week.
