Hey Apple, write this down:
This may not be a perfect solution, but it sure isn’t a lame bumper nor a weird band-aid that’ll make your galactic industrial design look as cheap as it behaves. This is a sort of “invisible” film that seems to get the job done, you know,.. so people don’t notice your phone has a problem. We haven’t confirmed it yet ourselves, but Zagg’s video claims their invisibleSHIELD is thin and clear enough to give you a “close to bare” iPhone 4 without a weak spot.
The video shows us how the iPhone 4 simply stops handling packets when you touch the antenna. Then they test it with some of their clear shield and it seems to work just fine. You can go for the full shield that’ll cost you $25 or you could just go for the $10 side cover that deals with the antenna. Have a look at Zagg’s store if you’re interested.
All we need now is for the Cupertino gang to add this option into the “free case” giveaway,.. Hopefully..
