Call this a smart way to get people crazy for a Verizon iPhone 4 on release date. We all know that Verizon’s $30 unlimited data services are soon to become history as they continue to analyze how their tiered data plans will work. While that happens, COO Lowell McAdam told The Wall Street Journal: “I’m not going to shoot myself in the foot,” which in our geek language means we’ll get the $30 unlimited data services upon the iPhone 4 launch.
What makes things tricky is the fact that we know that will change very soon, so if you’re planing to get a Verizon iPhone 4, our word of advice is that you take the day off and buy yourself one on launch day before it’s too late. Unlimited data on an iPhone is peace of mind in which ever way you want to see it. If you think of it, buy it now or buy it later, you’ll still end up buying it if you really want it. In this case though, it will make a difference if you choose to leave things for later.
