Here’s an interesting bit of information coming from ChronicWire’s Twitter account — yes, the iPhone Jailbreak developer Chronic: Apple Stores are allegedly expecting unlocked iPhones.
If Chronic’s sources are to be believed then Apple Stores will purportedly get unlocked iPhone smartphones as of this Wednesday. The tweet says: “Unlocked iPhones headed to Apple Stores for Wednesday: MC603 (16GB, Black) MC604 (16GB, White) MC605 (32GB, Black) MC606 (32GB, White)”. There should be a flavor for anyone and, as some European — and not only — countries had their share of unlocked iPhones, the U.S. market will finally get its own. Question is, with the iPhone 5 rumored for a September release, will anyone buy an (even unlocked) iPhone now?
