Well good news have begun to make the scene for all of us in need for a carrier unlock. Aside from iOS 4.2.1 (or 4.2 if you’d prefer to call it that way) being Jailbroken recently, everything points out to UltraSn0w getting it’s much needed update this sunday. For all of you new to this feature, UltraSn0w is the service that’ll allow you to unlock your iPhone to work on any GSM carrier after you’ve jailbroken the device.
Sadly not everything is good news just yet. The carrier unlock feature will currently only work ok the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS, though it seems it will cover all the BaseBands available for the device. MuscleNerd has confirmed that they are working hard on getting this to work on the iPhone 4.

Let’s cross our fingers and wait for sunday, and lets hope the wait for this feature to reach us iPhone 4 adopters doesn’t take that long afterwards.
