We’ve heard rumors of an iPhone headed to Sprint with the occasion the iPhone 4S name surfaced and according to recent reports, such an iPhone is indeed undergoing some heavy testing.
According to a 9to5mac source, there’s an Apple iPhone that’s being allegedly tested at this moment against Sprint compatible cell towers. The iPhone is reportedly looking a lot like the iPhone 4 — which fits nicely into the whole image painted by previous iPhone 4S rumors — and is purportedly being tested with some Sprint-compatible towers Apple ordered and set up on campus in late 2010. The iPhone is also rumored to be present at Sprint’s R&D department and let’s not forget the rather recent job listing where Apple was looking for personnel in Kansas City, MO, the place for Sprint HQ.
