This is the probably the slowest product roll-out yet, but we’ll cut them some slack given the White iPhone 4 is king in that department. After our coverage of Skyfire being submitted for approval in Apple’s iOS App Store back in September, it seems all is set for us to finally get it this Thursday.
Why is this so important? Well, if you come from Windows Mobile or Android, you probably already know SkyFire is a must have. But for those who haven’t seen it in action, remember some people complain that the iPhone would be a perfect internet device if it carried Flash browsing on their mobile version of Safari, and Skyfire is good in doing just that. It renders sites on their servers and sends you a clean HTML5 version of the Flash based content for your iOS device to play it without compromising your battery life. Sadly server browsing isn’t the safest way to access your stuff, but if you stay away from any services that require security information from you, I’d say you’re golden.
