Without a doubt, the camera on the iPhone 4S is an exceptional one and is one of the main selling points of the device — together with the dual-core processor as well as Siri. It looks like the Apple-phone’s camera could be removed from the phone in Singapore, according to recent reports.
In order to target future possible owners that are in the military, carriers in Singapore are reportedly planning on offering camera-less iPhones. Even more, carrier M1 has featured the no-camera version of the iPhone 4S on its website (taken down by the end of the day). Two major drawbacks are present though: the actual process of removing the cameras from the phones (however the carriers will see fit) will void Apple’s warranty (but the carrier can probably still offer its own) and second, the process itself will be charged and the costs added to the price of the phone.
