Continuing the ongoing legal war with Apple, Samsung has filed preliminary injunctions in France and Italy trying to ban the iPhone 4S from the market, claiming two patent infringements in relationship with wireless telecommunications technology.
According to recent reports the Court of Milan turned down Samsung’s request and granted both parties some more time to submit further evidence. The new deadline is December 16 and the judge clearly didn’t find any urgency in Samsung’s claim (nor the alleged patent infringement) that would call for a preliminary injunction requiring a ban. Similarly, the Court in France already set out a new date (November 15) for the hearing thus giving the green light for the Apple-phone launch.
