Yes, it’s that time again, when we’re being bombed with iPhone 5 rumors from all directions. After Apple introduced the iPhone 4S last year, and, in preparation for the upcoming 2012 refresh, reports indicate that the iPhone 5 is indeed ready for production.
There are allegedly more iPhone 5 prototypes and it is not possible to tell at this time which will become the final design. However, they are all reportedly packing a larger-than-four-inch display (one of them made by LG), symmetrical shape thickness-wise (so no tapered or teardrop design), they don’t resemble the iPhone 4/4S and most important, neither is the final version.
If these rumors turn out to be true, Apple might be back on track for its summer WWDC launch schedule for the iPhone, which, by itself, is pretty far out at the moment. We’ll definitely find out more as the rumor mill is back in motion again.
