Here comes an interesting bit of information which appears to be more than just a random rumor: according to Stephane Richard, CEO of Orange France, the Apple iPhone 5 will hit France on October 15.

The information came as part of an interview when the executive let the information fly. While it comes in line with previous rumors of a mid-October launch and/or availability for the next iPhone, the date of October 15th falls on a Saturday. It is not likely to witness an Apple product launch on a Saturday (unless the American launch is earlier and October 15 is a France-only date) but we have one more month to wait and finally find everything out.
