Microsoft OneNote has become quite a popular note taking and research tool lately. It’s already very nicely integrated with Windows Phone 7 and there is a free app available for the iPhone. Today, the OneNote Mobile app for iPhone is now available in a few more markets where as previously it was only avaialable in the U.S.A. Now you can find it in the Apple App Store in Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The new OneNote Mobile version 1.2 for iOS also adds some nice features including search, “pinning” notes, image size options, and a settings for choosing which notebooks you want to sync from SkyDrive.
Unfortunately I personally have been unable to test the new version since it hangs at the loading notebooks screen on my iOS device, but if you’re in Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia or New Zealand, let us know how you like the new OneNote for iOS.
