When it comes down to FaceTime, you either like to use it or not. But those who prefer the built-in feature to keep in touch with friends will be disappointed when their shiny new iPad, just launched on March 7, will not allow them to on LTE.
You see, the thing is that LTE is sometimes even faster than WiFi. Still, the New iPad will give you the following error when you try to initiate FaceTime on LTE: “Connect to a Wi-Fi network to use FaceTime”. It’s kind of similar with the situation on iPhones but the funny thing is that you can turn your New LTE-enabled iPad into a WiFi and use that to make a FaceTime call on your iPhone. Oh well, another thing we need to keep our fingers crossed to happen.
