With the New iPad, more and more developers are pushing out updates for their applications in order to support the higher resolution on the new Apple tablet. Initially, the catalogue only listed 24 applications but the number is growing every day.

If you take a look at the screenshot above you’ll see that there is a teaser for an upcoming “Retina”-ready Facebook application. Facebook is one of the most popular social networking apps but its functionality and looks are far from its iPhone variant. With the addition of “Retina”-support we’ll probably have better graphics but what we really need is an awesome Facebook app that could offer an excellent experience, with the Timeline and all.
