Calling all eagle-eyed readers! The image above is allegedly one snapped off of the next iPad, purportedly showing off what appears to be a “Retina” display on a tablet. Apple’s next iPad is rumored, among others, to bring a higher resolution (2048 x 1536) to the slate.

We can’t tell for sure whether this is the iPad’s screen or whether it is an authentic image. Photoshop could always be an answer but just in case it’s not, we’re probably looking at some high-res screen, judging by the clear and crisp text and icons. One more thing which should get your imagination going: if this is indeed an Apple tablet, as claimed, there is no home button below the row of icons (yes, we know it could be a shop-job). Still, what do you think? And let’s not forget those texture display rumors!
