This could either be an iPhone 4S, an iPhone 5 or a mockup. Now that we got that one straight, it’s safe to assume that this is not your regular iPhone 4 coming in white this week, just take a closer look at the image.
We’ve been hearing that Apple is allegedly giving out iPhone 4 smartphones to developers with the new A5 chip in order to have everything ready for when the next generation iPhone will be launched. A5 chip aside, the device pictured clearly sports an edge-to-edge screen, pretty much like what we’ve heard the next iPhone will.
Rumors about the screen size were various: we’ve initially heard of a four-inch edge-to-edge display and later on it lost a couple to end up being allegedly 3.7-inches in diagonal — opposed to 3.5 on the iPhone 4.
Whether this is a real prototype or just a mockup — or an iPhone 5 camouflaged in an iPhone 4 case if you remember the story — is yet to be proven but for sure it isn’t the iPhone 4.
