So yeah, iOS 4 finally gave us the ability to group as many as 12 apps into folder to get rid of all the moving around between pages to reach one app or the other. I’ll have to admit this was the first feature I tested after the update to reduce my home screen page count from 9 to 3. The only little problem is, what happens when you have more than 12 games, or more than 12 Social Networking apps? I know this is the case for many of us, but as it stands, only those who Jailbreak will have a solution for that. Have a look at this preview to get an idea of what I mean:
FolderEnhancer is an app created by Japanese developer Ashikase that’ll be offered in Cydia sometime by the end of this month. As you saw in the video, it simply makes iOS 4′s folders features seem like yesterday’s solution to a very needed problem. So even though we know we’re close to seeing iOS 4.1 and 4.2 Jailbroken, I can’t help but wonder if this guy couldn’t get a job at Cupertino to show the gang how things should be done from the start.
