Looks like iOS 5.0.1 wasn’t Apple’s most successful update in terms of the platform for some users. After it made things reportedly worse battery-wise for some, we now see reports of all App Store applications appearing on the home screen(s) with “Waiting” status.
The image above is pretty self-explanatory. If you experience this or something similar, there are a couple of things you can try. The apps appear to be stuck with the “Waiting” status but no download is actually happening. Here’s what you can try to do: first of all, check and stop stuck iTunes Store downloads, if any; check for big app downloads; manually delete and re-install all App Store apps. Let us know if you experienced problems and whether you managed to fix them.
