Voice search is nothing new to Android and Windows Phone users and neither is dictation or voice-to-text. Following up on previous hints that iOS 5 will feature deep Nuance dictation integration today we get a chance to see how Apple will (hopefully) implement it.
As you can see in the screenshot above, there’s a microphone button on the keyboard, pretty much like on most Android phones. Once tapped, a new screen should pop up, capture your voice and translate it into text. The screenshot is taken from the iOS 5 beta and of course can suffer some modifications until the platform goes final. Fingers crossed it will be included in the final version of iOS 5 so that you can fill in text boxes and even conduct searches using your voice.
