Apple has just rolled out version 1.1 of their iMovie app and within the new enhancements you’ll finally be able to split clips you’ve recorded continuously. Surely this is not a deal breaker for many, but the fact that you’d probably prefer to cut some stuff off a clip and not just throw it away because some guy walked between your shot is a welcomed addition.
What else is new on this update:
Compatible with iPod touch (4th generation).
Ability to split video clips.
Automatic music looping when video extends beyond music track.
Scrub to preview clips in Video Browser.
In-app Tips page that illustrates how to use key features.
Updated Photos Browser with newest images at top.
Mute badge to indicate video clips with audio disabled.
Additional performance and reliability improvements.
So if you haven’t already decided to get this app, remember it only works on the 4th Gen iPod Touch and the iPhone 4, it costs $5 and you can get it on iTunes.
