Id Software’s Rage For iOS Now Free For A Week Thanks To Facebook

I never thought I’d say this, but there are some things like about Facebook aside from the button. Id Software has decided to fulfill the promise they made to their fans on Facebook. The deal was that if they reached 100,000 Likes on their page, they’d set the game free for a week.

Both Rage and Rage HD for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad are top the list of the best designed and most innovative games on the iOS platform. Even in the past when they cost $3 each, most of us considered it a bargain once you compared the price tag with the thoughtfulness and quality of the game. They’ve also recently been updated for better compatibility on the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 by adding improved graphics and an analog thumb-stick as a control option, aside from a “melee mode” if the device is shaken forward. Head on over to the Appstore for your copy Rage and Rage HD and fire away!
