In the middle of March Google has redesigned the search application for the iOS-powered iPhone and now, two months later, is further improving it in terms of speed, aspect and usability.
Claimed to be 20% more responsive as you type search queries and interact with it, the new Google Search app has the Just Talk feature — that allowed you to make voice searches — disabled by default to improve speed. This option can be turned back on at any time. The other change introduced is that the search results font has been increased in order to maximize usability on the iPhone screen; this way users can more precisely tap on a text string or link.
