Following the recent release of Apple’s latest mobile platform, iOS 5, applications are getting updated and this time it’s Foursquare that gets a version bump all the way up to 4.0.

The main addition is a feature called Radar which helps you find interesting and cool places nearby. If your phone is in your pocket, the app will let you know if your friends are nearby or you’re passing by an excellent place which you’ve added to your To-Do list.
