Verizon’s marketing team must have had a pretty easy time choosing an angle for the first iPhone advertisement: million of people have been literally waiting for years for the Verizon iPhone to become real. So it’s no wonder than the first ad features people waiting, and clocks ticking, with a climax at the end featuring a firm date (February 10th) when the clocks will “stop clicking”. The message is “to our millions of customers who never stopped believing this day would come: thank you”. Clever stuff, and certainly AT&T might be scrambling to create a counter to this message.
