The official Facebook application for Apple‘s iOS powered smartphone has been just updated to version 3.4 bringing some nice features to the table like Event Check-ins.

The new version allows you to Unfriend anyone in your Friends list on Facebook straight from your iPhone. Additionally, a Map View for Places has been added as well as the ability to Check in to Events that you’re attending. There are also improvements to the News Feed as well as some notification UI enhancements.
