We’ve told you about the problems iPhone 4S users are having in terms of poor battery life and there were also reports of Apple contacting owners trying to fix the issues, even if that means installing diagnostic software.
There is allegedly a bug in the Location Services that seems to be a good candidate for the battery drain cause. Apparently the phone tries to get your location too often in order to automatically change your time zone. Going to Settings, Location Services, System Services and disabling Setting Time Zone will render your phone incapable of adjusting its time automatically but will purportedly solve a battery drain issue. Let us know if this worked for you!
