A leaked document from a source within Best Buy has the stores preparing for Sprint iPhone 5 preorders as early as the first week of October. Later updates also mention that the preorders could begin this month for official sales during the first week of October also. Since this still falls under the rumor category, we’ll assume that the possibility of an announcement this month for sales to begin next month makes more sense.

This is good news for those that have been anticipating the next generation iPhone, and also for those who’ve waited four years to see it reach Sprint’s network. Sadly there still are no official dates for Apple’s music event. History shows that Apple has been very accurate in keeping this music event in September for the past five years, so hopefully the time for rumors and curiosity is about to come to an end.
