AT&T has just announced that it is cutting down prices for Apple’s iPhone 3GS model and that the new price is kicking in starting Friday, January 7, for both new and upgrade-eligible existing AT&T customers.
The new price for the smartphone is $49.00 and it will be available online via AT&T, at one of its retail locations or through AT&T and Apple business channels. The new price surely makes the iPhone 3GS more accessible and AT&T advertises the combination with its new, low, $15 per month data plan.
The iPhone 3GS has an 163 ppi 480 x 320 resolution screen, 8GB internal memory, 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus, records VGA (640 x 480) video, GPS, accelerometer and WiFi 802.11b/g. With iOS 4 compatibility for the device, let us know if you’re excited enough about the new price to go out and grab one.
