According to AT&T, the iPhone 4S for their network is HSPA+ capable, in fact, the company is trying to change the “3G” icon to “4G” to represent the faster speeds. We don’t blame them, after doing some field testing of our own with the new iPhone model. Our own Dan Webster was able to clock download speeds of over 10mbps in Washington state today. Over here in Pennsyvlania, my results weren’t as impressive, but at over 4mbps down with full bars, it’s clear that the iPhone 4S on AT&T can handily beat most 3G phones out there, and even keep up with some that have true 4G. How have your data speeds been on your 4S? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to specify which network you’re on.
