If you’re an Apple fan you probably heard about rumors regarding a possible event in January. So far rumors were talking about iPad(s) and Apple TVs but according to the latest reports, it will be all about iBooks and publishing.

The event allegedly coming later this month in New York will focus on publishing and digital books with no hardware whatsoever. The event will be nothing major, the report notes, and even the attendance will be “more publishing industry-oriented than consumer-focused”. Expect some improvements in the iBooks segment, an offering which is available for both phones and tablets. If the report turns out to be true we’ll see what Cupertino gets out of the magic hat to continue the fight with Amazon’s Kindle.
