There is already an Apple Store application in iTunes but according to recent reports, Apple will be pushing out a completely new version tomorrow together with some new ways for customers to purchase and pick up products.
Apparently those who will order Apple products online with the new application will be able to pick the goods up 12 minutes later from a brick-and-mortar store. The 12 minute time window is enough for personnel to prepare the goods. When you head over to the store for picking up your order, you will have priority over in-store customers.
If there’s a custom product you’ll want to order or just simply the gadget of your choice is not in stock, you will be given an exact pick-up date with a push notification being sent out to you when your order is ready for picking it up. If you like the new system (and Apple is very excited about it), keep an eye out for the app (allegedly hitting) tomorrow.
