There have been plenty of rumors regarding the hardware specs of the iPhone 5 as well as to the launch date. The game was basically back and forth between September and October, with the latest appearing to be more close to the truth.
According to TechDay, Apple’s next iPhone will launch in New Zealand on October 9. Given October 9 is a Sunday and that this too, has no official strings attached except for the usual anonymous “source within Apple”, you need to treat this too, with a tad of salt. Regardless of the exact day, rumors around October (beginning to middle of the month) seem to be the main rumors to go by, and we only have a tad more than a month until then. If October 9 is right on spot, the U.S. should see the phones a little bit earlier, or at least on the same day.
