With all the news and fresh bits coming out of CES in Las Vegas, Apple enthusiasts are somewhat marginalized since the Cupertino company is continuing its non-presence at the show. However, Apple released a new beta of its iOS platform to developers.
iOS 5.1 beta 3 is wearing build number 9B5141a and is available to download from the source link below (or should be pushed over-the-air to devices with beta 2). Aside from a variety of bugfixes and improvements over the previous beta, the current iteration is bringing back the lost 3G toggle switch. Apple removed the option as of iOS 5 but it appears that Cupertino is reconsidering. It will be at least helpful for those who want to further tweak and improve their iPhone’s battery life.
