Even though some people have complained and even shown refunds of a false alarm regarding Apple’s launch of iTunes Match internationally, the service has officially gone live to the world. iTunes Match is that service where you pay $25 a year to have iTunes scan all of your music library and switch all of your downloaded or ripped music with fresh copies of the same songs from the iTunes store at higher quality bit rate.
Just make sure you’re rocking iTunes 10.5.2 on your computer, and that it is one of your authorized computers within your Apple ID.
As with all that Apple launches, expect all their servers to be hanging by a thread today and probably tomorrow as people adopt the new service.
