The iPhone 4S is slowly becoming available in more and more regions with 15 new countries being recently added, among which Hong Kong. The actual availability date is set for November 11 but pre-orders were up since November 4.
According to Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brian White, the latest iteration of Apple’s smartphone has sold out with pre-orders in the first 10 minutes. “This is a very positive sign for iPhone 4S demand in Greater China as Hong Kong represents the first entry of the new smartphone in the rapidly growing region and we expect the 4S to reach Mainland China in December”, said White. Those in Hong Kong who didn’t manage to click fast enough on the purchase button when pre-orders went live will have to wait until November 11 to get their 4S treat.
