comScore recently made a report public referring to September 2011 where we see Apple crossing the 10% share of mobile subscribers for the first time. More than 30,000 U.S. mobile subscribers were surveyed.
While Google’s Android sits comfortably on the first sport with a market share of 44.8% and Samsung is the number one handset manufacturer with its 25.3% share, Apple has, for the first time, crossed the 10% mark with currently being at 10.2% of market share in terms of the iPhone and 27.4% in terms of iOS. It is also the only manufacturer to have grown compare to numbers from June.
It will definitely be interesting to see the December numbers of how Apple does in terms of phones and platform with the iPhone 4S now being released and breaking sales record after sales record.
