If last year there was the “antenna-gate” regarding the iPhone 4, this year seems to be the “battery-gate” concerning the new iPhone 4S. Many users are complaining of poor battery life and Apple is contacting them for more details.
According to recent reports, Apple engineers are contacting iPhone 4S owners and even asking some of them to install diag and monitoring programs on the device trying to figure out what the problem is. Apple doesn’t seem to know what the source of the problem is and various reports point fingers towards either one of iCloud, Notification Center, Location Services, and Reminders. According to other claims, the battery drain is directly related to the Data Connection and things appear to be normal while on WiFi. Are you experiencing such problems or have you been contacted by Apple?
