We knew that Rovio is working on a special edition game due this month to celebrate the 20th Century Fox movie and as we expected, Angry Birds Rio is now available for the iPhone in the iTunes Application Store.
“What happens when everybody’s favorite fierce fowl get caged and shipped to Rio? They get very angry!” That’s right, the Birds are kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janeiro which makes them angrier than ever. They escape and go on trying to save their new friends Blu and Jewel, stars of the upcoming Fox motion picture. The game features two episodes with 60 levels, new achievements, hidden fruits, and Rovio’s promise for Episodic updates throughout 2011.
The game costs $1.29, weighs 13.1MB and has been tested on iOS 4 but requires iOS 3.0 or later. Hit the source link to grab the game!
