Amazon sadly still doesn’t offer an iOS App of their Cloud Player service, but it seems they haven’t spent the last couple of weeks with their hands crossed. In the past, the web based service wasn’t compatible with the iPhone’s Safari browser, though you could still access it and click on download to play at least one song at a time. Now, even though you still get a warning that mentions your browser as not compatible, just hit continue and you’ll be taken to the service, which now miraculously plays music like a charm.
Music buffers quickly and it’ll play all the tracks on any playlist you choose. You can even leave the browser or send your iPhone to standby and the music will continue playing in the background. The iPod controls do work with the service also, though buffering is still not as good as to play the next track immediately. Again, not the best solution in the world, but at least one that works for now.
