By default, Windows Live will add contacts onto your device that are on your Windows Live account. But what if you don’t want this? Well, when setting up Windows Live, uncheck the box that says “Store WL contacts on your mobile phone” (top screenshot). If you’ve already missed that option, you can get back to it by doing Menu>Sync Options (bottom screenshot). Thanks to Jaime Rivera for the tip (from our General forum).
