Quick Tip: Change Time Until Phone Goes to Voicemail

Did you know that you can set the time until your phone goes to voicemail when you don’t answer your phone? You can actually do it right from your device. Do this:

1. Start > Settings > Phone > Services > Call forwarding > Get settings

2. As seen below, change the “forward after” value to change the time and thus number of rings before the caller goes to your voicemail

You can also use this screen to set call forwarding to a different number. By default, it goes to your voicemail line, but if you’re away on vacation and you want your cell to ring through to your office line, you can do that here. Thanks to Pensionada for the tip (from our HP forum).
