Quick Tip: Calibrate Screen With Stylus, Not Fingers!

Every Windows Mobile Professional Device (Pocket PC) has a screen calibration utility that pops up the first time you set up your device or after a hard reset. A quick tip if you happen to own the LG Incite on AT&T or the CDMA Samsung Omnia on Verizon Wireless in the US, please use your stylus, which is separate but included in the box, to calibrate your screen. According to a user on MobileGadgetNews who thought he could use his finger to calibrate the screen to his Verizon Omnia, the results were not great. After he re-calibrated with the stylus, screen taps became more accurate.

Although those devices have software and interface add-ons that may make the devices more finger-friendly, calibration still requires the accuracy of the stylus and you only really need to do this once or after a hard reset.
