So – if you’re on AT&T and want to use the G1, you’re kind of out of luck, unless you pay a premium to have the G1 unlocked.

But, what if you could unlock your SIM card, and use it on any device, on any GSM carrier? Well, there’s a product floating around out there called SIMable which promises to do that. It’s a very thin adapter that you slide onto your SIM. It costs less than $30, and Tracy and Matt did a really good video about it. This may be a nice little accessory for those that want a larger choice of phones.
