This is interesting,.. I haven’t had any issues with the iOS 4 upgrade and my Exchange account, but it seems I’m probably in a short list of lucky people because Apple has gone to the extent of posting a fix you can install on your iPhone to deal with any sort of issues in syncing mail, contacts or calendar.
According to Apple Support, the symptoms of the bug are: “Immediately after updating to iOS 4, some users may notice that Exchange ActiveSync Mail, Contacts, or Calendars do not sync, or sync very slowly. In addition, some Exchange Server administrators may notice their servers running slowly.”
If you’re dealing with this problem, access this post from Safari on your iPhone and download the profile app that will fix the amount of time your device will wait for the Exchange Server to respond.
While some of us are at it,.. How about some iOS 4.0.1 love huh Apple??
Thanks for the tip Joe.
