According to 3GWeek, Willcom will be launching a Windows Mobile phone made by Sharp for the Japanese market. The device will come pre-loaded with Opera Mobile 9.5 and will have a 3-inch LCD display in widescreen VGA format, similar to the resolution found on the upcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 model. The phone will retail for about $580 on a two-year agreement and will come in bold colors–pink, lime, and gold. It looks like a Touch Diamond meets a Toshiba Gigabeat portable media MP3 player, meets Sony Ericsson’s widescreen display.
